With every step of all type of development, there is always someone who came before and helped make it possible 🙏 for the ones who followed. When it comes to women’s history, we cannot overlook the hard work that it took for us to be where we are today.
For example, did you know that the first ever women’s right convention took place all the way back in 1840? 🤯
And then almost 70 years later, the whole world celebrated the first women’s international day.
Today, nearly 15% of the world highest positions of state are held by women.💕
This ripple_effect 🚀could only be possible thanks to the support and collaboration of several generations of strong willed communities.
As Hans_Rosling, nominated among of the world’s 100 most influential people in 2012, said in his amazing book Factfulness:
« Look for systems, not for heroes ».
Let’s keep up on those systems which are full of possibilities 🎉
