Is our memory biased?

Yes, there are opportunities.
Yes, there are job offerings.
Yes, things have moved forward🤝
But there is still a long way to go. 🏃🏻➡️🏃🏻♀️➡️
A recent study showed that male researchers named significantly fewer women as #experts in comparison to their female peers. See source below ⬇️
This discovery 💡could be coming from a #biased_perception due to a systematic issue that arose long before us. The historical labor gender gap —that has been and is still present— might be hindering our abilities to see #beyond_the_options that have always been there. 🧐
Men and women share the same #starting_point, but the obstacles along the way are entirely different. Still from the outside, the race appears to be #equal.
Being aware of our environment will allow us to open up our mindset and enrich our #decision-making in a more #inclusive way.🚀
How do we think about the people around us?
Are we conscious of our bias?
