2024 was a very special year where I began creating #IMPULSE as a space designed for sharing & inspiring an exchange of ideas between all kinds of people in the corporate world. 👩💼🧑💼
Through inspiring stories and practical advice, I aim to #encourage a shift in #mindset that could lead to a professional #transformation, both individually and collectively. 🤝
Along 2024, I compiled 4 pillars that serve as a valuable reference in every professional journey: #impulse #creativity #hands_on #collaboration.
Jumping on the “in-visuals” trend, have a look at #IMPULSE in-images, created as...
Servant Leadership

Traditional leadership works for traditional business🧑🏻💼, but moving forward across generations requires a change in perspective that will benefit everyone.
I personally appreciate the #servant_leadership style which was popularised by the #Agile project management methodology. This is a philosophy that prioritizes #growth and well-being of the collaborators as it focuses on creating an environment in which the team can #thrive and get the highest #impact done. 🚀
One key aspect is valuing #respect and #diversity in the workplace, especially when it comes to aspects like age, race, gender, experience and opinions.
Let’s...
The Beverage Making Business 🥂

Great passion and a willingness to discover different #natural_beverages helped to drive my friend #Alexia_Ihle to co-found @karmatobrew 🫧
Her inspiration came from wanting to offer an alternative #health_drink that could bring each customer pleasure, all while contributing to the wellbeing of the uruguayan community through the craft of brewing beverages such as #kombucha and #craft_beer.
For the production of all #Karma beverages, they use whenever possible, regionally sourced agroecological produce, supporting a sustainable value chain.♻️
Being in the front line of #production can be challenging, but being aware that the beverages...
Is our memory biased?

Yes, there are opportunities.
Yes, there are job offerings.
Yes, things have moved forward🤝
But there is still a long way to go. 🏃🏻➡️🏃🏻♀️➡️
A recent study showed that male researchers named significantly fewer women as #experts in comparison to their female peers. See source below ⬇️
This discovery 💡could be coming from a #biased_perception due to a systematic issue that arose long before us. The historical labor gender gap —that has been and is still present— might be hindering our abilities to see #beyond_the_options that have always been there. 🧐
Motivation Thought – Action create momentum

It is a common belief that motivation will always come naturally to us, when in reality it is something that you have to constantly keep building for yourself. 💪
Empowering young people and giving them space to grow as professionals will provide that #impulse to keep going. 🏃🏻♀️➡️🏃🏻➡️
We need to embrace that potential #discomfort that may come with responsibilities, as that, is what will make a difference in the way we view our journey. ☀️

Listen to me Generations!

#Debunking_myths 🧐 around generational differences, specifically in the workspace.
#Myth 1 )The younger generation does not have as much professional experience and therefore isn’t able to provide solutions with as high of an #impact as their older peers.
➡️ It´s the other way around, young people come full of fresh ideas that are needed to #innovate💡which is why it’s important to give them the space to voice them out.📢
#Myth 2 ) The older generation is stubborn when it comes to change and is skeptical about #new_ideas.
➡️Actually the experience that these people...
Women’s history: A rising trend in the timeline!

With every step of all type of #development, there is always someone who came before and helped make it possible 🙏 for the ones who followed. When it comes to women’s history, we cannot overlook the hard work that it took for us to be where we are today.
For example, did you know that the first ever women’s right convention took place all the way back in 1840? 🤯
And then almost 70 years later, the whole world celebrated the first women’s international day.
Today, nearly 15% of the world highest positions...

“My Mission after Tennis is investing in us!” It´s Roland Garros time 🎾 and how not to think about Serena Williams. Besides of all her triumphs, she was able to take her #passion and channel it into a successful #career from every angle.
Her legacy goes beyond what she achieved in the tennis court, as she continuously challenged stereotypes while #empowering young women and children for over nearly three decades! 💪
“My mission after tennis is investing in us! Women, people of color and diversity.”
Williams’ venture capital fund -Serena Ventures-, is proof...
Women Empowering Women in Logistics

In the midst of vessel capacity allocations 🚢and shipping routes pricing, life brought me my first female mentor Kornelia Tiede while on my very first internship.
Besides demonstrating excellent know-how abilities within the shipping industry, she taught me that people could be both strong and disciplined 💪 while also remaining kind and nurturing.
Now, thinking back, with us being part of a group of young women, I believe she was attempting to protect our hashtag#authenticity and provide us with a feeling of hashtag#belonging in the sometimes-daunting business world.
I was not fully aware...

We all know the different phases of a #creative_process after that first #IMPULSE.
But were you aware that you might need a different approach and skills for each one of them..take a look🧐
1. IMMERSING- Get ready to dig in and to explore as much as you can
2. FORMING- No judgements allowed, just go with the flow
3. EXPRESSING- Feel comfortable with the best remaining
4. ELABORATING: Get into something tangible 🚀
#Unblock and adapt where ever u need to.
I leave you with this excellent quote from the most important music producer...
